Awesome Find

By:
August 8, 2008

Just when I thought I would never find a boot to fit my slightly wider than average foot, I ordered these as my last resort. Out of the box, they were a perfect fit and true to size. Wore them with a heavy backpack on an 8 mile hike for a test run with little to no break in time. They proved to be comfortable, sturdy and warm on the snowfields of Mount Rainier with a 45 pound pack. An awesome find at a great price.

Great winter activity boots

By:

I am impressed with this boot. It's sturdy and warm. I bought it at my regular size and had plenty of room for thick winter socks. If I were going to use it as a warm weather hiking boot, it wouldn't work as well b/c they would be too wide. But I have really narrow feet. They took a couple of days of all day wear to break in, but now feel great.

Dayhikers

By:

I thought these boots fit my long, narrow feet quite well, but I did not think they would provide adequate support for carrying a heavy backpack over uneven terrain, which was my planned use. I think they would probably serve well for dayhiking with a light pack.
