La Sportiva Cliff Climbing Shoe

As one of the most popular beginning climbing shoes on the planet, the La Sportiva Cliff Rock Shoes provide plenty of performance with a comfortable last that you can wear all day. To-the-toe lacing allows you to adjust the shoes fit for comfort during a long gym session or tighten them when you try a hard route. The Cliff Shoes' FriXion RS rubber sticks to holds like glue and won't wear out after a half season like some other climbing shoes. La Sportiva designed every bit of these shoes with the beginning climber in mind to allow quick advancement without undue foot pain or expense.

Bottom Line: Start off your climbing right with the La Sportiva Cliff Rock Climbing Shoes.

These Shoes are So Comfortable

By:
May 13, 2008

Recently, I was on a rock climbing trip in Red Rock, Las Vegas and I was wearing shoes I had for several years that were too tight. By the end of two days of climbing, my big toes were black and blue and hurt like hell. I didn't believe I was going to be able to climb the last day of our trip. However, the guide company we used had these shoes as their everyday use shoes for their climbing clients and I tried on a pair. Wow! what a difference compared to the shoes I was wearing before. All I can say was that I was able to climb and enjoy the last day of my trip on my first multipitch climb. And this would not have been possible without the comfort and confidence I felt in these shoes. I immediately ordered a pair from this site when I got home and I have been very pleased with the shoes. I use them daily now and I can wear them for hours without pain. They adhere to features well and give me absolute confidence on the wall. I highly recommend these shoes if you are seeking a balance of comfort and performance. Great shoes, gentlemen

I wear a womans 7 to 7.5 my feet are medium in width. I know the Euro size 37.5 is a little too snug. But I also know that climbing shoes are supposed to be a tight fit. How tight should they be? would a Euro size 38 be a good choice? Since I can't try them on I want to be sure.

I always go with comfort, I have been climbing for 10 years and I have tried every type of shoe. I now have the Mythos lace-ups and I love them. I got them in my regular street shoe size and I have climbed everything from 5.6 cracks to 5.12 sport climbs. Its really important to have comfortable shoes.

Hi, I'm the same size as you. I bought a pair which were size 45.5 and they're a tight fit with about half an inch room at the toe. I probably could of got away with wearing a 45.

my thoughts

They are very comfortable for a climbing shoe. However, I have wide feet so how long the shoe is can be a problem-at first they were a bit slick. once scuffed up they worked great with a small pad at heal to keep my foot forward. I normally wear a size 9 to 9 and a half I ordered a 43.5 or about size 10 and a half (hence really wide feet) only 1/8 inch pad in heal needed.
