La Sportiva Cirque Pro Approach Shoe - Men's
High-friction Dot Rubber soles and precise Mythos lacing helps the La Sportiva Cirque Pro Approach Shoes take on ridge traverses and mellow rock climbs with ease. These La Sportiva shoes are exactly what you want on your feet when the line between hiking and rock climbing becomes blurred. The Cirque Pro Shoes are also great for an impromptu urban buildering session on your way back from catching a movie.
Bottom Line: You're always ready to step off the trail (or sidewalk) and into the vertical world with the La Sportiva Cirque Pro Approach Shoes.

Really like these shoes. Have only used them for a month but so far they're great. Have used them for light hiking and some bouldering at the Lost Horse area here in the Bitteroot Valley, MT. Really nice stickiness to the rubber and very stable. The fit is super snug and comfy. And not to forget, they look awesome!!

I wore through the rubber on the toe in less than ten days. I wore them for five days in Canyonlands and on a Class iv ascent in Zion and they were done. Great fit, super sticky sole but all in all I am disappointed how quick they blew out...

Trashed these shoes in short order in the Tetons. The rubber and the fit are great, but the construction is crap. Not worth any price if you're really going to use them.

Fit and rubber are great, but the seams down the sides ripped out in less than two weeks. Plus the insoles are thin and useless.

I'm so pleased with these shoes, ordered the same size as my Mythos rock shoe and they fit like a glove. Great grip, support and feel. I don't feel like taking them off ! got them on sale here with free shipping, if only everything else in life went this well!

I really like the versatility of these shoes. I use them to hike, trail run, light climb, and just wear them casually. The sole is very grippy, and they are well made to last a long time.

I thought these shoes were very well built but decided to return as they were a little too narrow, and built like a climbing shoe. I wanted a more traditional day hiker with better cushioning. If you are after a more tech shoe with full rand all the way around, and are ok with the narrow snug fit (and the looks that come with it) then this shoe will likely be a performer. Rubber was sticky and marking. I should have taken the line about blurring the line between rock and trail more seriously.

A good shoe, a good fit for my foot. I've worn a pair for several months now, I've climbed moderate routes in the Gunks and hiked Mt. Washington in them. The shoes balance the need for forefoot sensitivity needed in an approach shoe where one expects to make the occasional 5.5 move, yet still has enough forefoot cushion to make hiking comfortable. The shoe has a trim profile that places the toes right over the edge of the sole preventing sole flop when standing on an edge, the sticky rubber is a plus also. The style is simple with clean lines and a color that is soft on the eyes and reflects the environment they are in [--hey, remember the old Boulders with that pink `euro' coloring? Never would wear a pair of those because of the color.] I will probably get another pair of the Cirques just to keep as a spare when needed.
