Lowa designed the Cristallo Expert GTX Extreme Mountaineering Boot to provide you with unparalleled support and performance for mountaineering in the harshest conditions. The Expert GTX mountaineering boot is a warmer, more stable version of the popular Cristallo GTX, and is designed to be worn in the most intense climbing conditions. When you're slugging up that couloir, the Vibram Expert sole provides longitudinal stability and is crampon compatible for bomber traction. Gore-Tex lining gives you exceptional waterproof/breathable protection and exceptional insulation to keep your toes warm, dry, and comfortable—and also on your feet. Lowa included burly, abrasion-resistant Cordura and 2.8mm split leather upper to stand up to the roughest alpine terrain. The extra-high rubber rand adds stability and increased weather and impact protection.
