Line Invader Alpine Ski
Jib, stomp, and butter riding regular or switch—the twintip Line Invader Alpine Ski gives you a killer ride in both directions. The Invader's center-mounted stance and 100% symmetric flex and geometry mean you can carve, spin, turn, and butter with consistency. The Invader's milled Butter Zones create a distinct hinge point for smooth, controllable nose and tail presses, while Line's durable Fatty base and edges take punishing abuse. The tough but lightweight maple core gives you smooth, consistent flex and pop for seasons of park destruction.
Bottom Line: Symmetrical invasions.

what kind of bindings go on these?
Flag
Really the options there are numerous. There are dozens of types of alpine bindings you could mount on these, as well as tele, though they won't work as well. I would advise not putting snowboard bindings on them, but that's just my suggestion.

i am thinking of getting them and i am thinking of going big in the park this year will they be a good to start on or will they just break????
Flag
if all you ski is park then these things will be great. Of course they are going to break and delam after 2 runs and you will have to buy another pair. they are light so for the one jump you hit you can pull some grab or spin(unless the jump is over 6-7 feet tall, then the invaders will simply explode unpon impact with the ground), but realistically these skis are good for nothing. Line is good for nothing. Simply garbage. Dont waste your money. just answering this question has made me sick

They are solid park and jib ski. Nice and flexy and they butter like mad. They are fun to ski in the park. People have been saying that they are only good in the park, but I ski them all mountain and have been very pleased with them. If you can't ski invaders outside of the park, perhaps you shouldn't be on skis.

Pretty much, these are the tightest skis i've ever used.... super easy to ride switch, light for quick spins, and super buttery, but stiff in the middle to stomp your booters.... whatever crap people say about these is BS! the top sheet isnt the best construction, but doesn't chip as much as some skis, and the graphics are sick...
what more can i say???

Got my line invaders two weeks ago and i was phsyced!!! they were super light and looked perfect. got out in my yard where i got a barrel jib, 6 ft rail and a down box set up. i started usin um and they felt amazing super fast and the landings felt so clean. but i took um off that night and the outer coating of lamanation was already peeling i was PISSED! but i decided to keep shredn. ive used them on teh mountain 3 times so far and they handle really well but they scrath way way to easy, ive got dings that go INSIDE the ski already and im really angry. if your lookin for a 1 season ripper this is a good ski but definetely not worth getting if you expect to have them last more then 2 seasons.

the line invader is an absolutely pathetic ski. the line invader is not durable at all. 2nd day of the season they started to delam, and now they are sitting in my garage completely thrashed. if you want a good pair of skis check out the head mojo 80. best park ski i have ever ridden i am willing to bet that you cant break a pair of those.

okay the first skis i ever bought (bought, i rented before) were the Line Mini Chronics. they were great skis but 2nd season i clipped a box and snapped the tip off, i was mad and blamed the skis for that haha so then i went and bought K2 juvy's but 2nd season i hated that they weren't center mounted so i bought these 151cm Line Invaders. I've only ridden them once but that was the most fun i've ever had skiing - even though the conditions were horrible - it was basically raining so the whole mountain was slow so i stayed in park the whole day. i don't know how they ride all-mountain but they're really good in park. i don't regret buying them at all. i can't wait to go out to CO and ski them 6 days in a row. Oh, and till1080 - i have a question: if they were such junky skis why did you buy 15 pairs? get a different kind if the invaders are so bad - no way you broke 15 pairs. these were well worth it.

these things are awesome, anyone who has a durability issue must be stupid. LINE SKIS IS OWNED BY K2. ALL OF THEM ARE MADE IN THE K2 FACTORY. this should be about as obvious as the fact that you cant go through fifteen pairs in a season

These skis are not flimsy at all. those who broke them were probably fat and just overpowered them. And any ski is gonna snap if u huck a double back off a small kicker which he probly caught the tip. i have seen a pair of volkl dogens beet to hell so any ski can get damaged. great deal that wont upset

I was a little worried these would be to narrow, but they really do the job well. Bindings at true center is really cool. It feels kind of weird putting big mountain skis on again and seeing how much tip you have. I was impressed at how fast you can go and how well they do all over the mountain. They are great skis.

I used these all season, and they are still good for one more season! I ski a lot of park and the skis spin easily and give you a nice pop. the butter zone is SICK! Till-1080 sounds like the biggest poser ever! broke 15 pairs, YEAH RIGHT! these are well worth it!

This is by far the best ski i have ever ridden. don't listen to those bogus line is crap deal. they are so easy to spin and super light. the butter zone is great, but doesn't give up stiffness. it is fairly soft, but still holds up, even if you are ridding through an icy race course.

if your interested in this ski for the price, it is NOT WORTH IT. if these skis went for 50 dollars or less, it would be a good buy. they rip apart if your land a jump more than 5 feet in the air. their customer service is horrible, their website is sleezy, and they're skis are crap. BUY A SKI FROM ROSSIGNOL, K2, OR ARMADA.
thank you for listening to me. If you buy these, and they rip apart, remember this review

till1080 is absolutely correct. these other reviews must have been written on the first day owning lines. Line makes nice graphics to sell their skis. Their skis are very light so you pay the price in the end when they aren't durable enough to withstand a small jump. My pair's edges popped out, delaminated, and the sole separated from under the bindings. Now I don't have any other skis and cant ski or return my invaders.
Line has horrible customer service and wont return if "tampered with", abused, or if rails are done while using their skis. It is quite unacceptable.
My brother is an identical skier to me and his scratch fs are the perfect ski for him and show absolutely no wear and tear.
bottom line: LINE is not a good company to deal with or for buying products.

Previous park skis I have ridden: Scratch FS, Fugitive, T Hall. The invader is the lightest park ski I have ridden so far. It is fun to turn, easy to butter, light and easy to spin, good pop and has nice thick edges. Expect your size to ride 3cms shorter than advertised. A similar ski I would recommend is the armada t hall. Super buttery and fun ski. The Fischer addict and habit are supposed to be similar as well, but stiffer.

As someone who was once sponsored by LINE, I've seen the evolution of how these skis are constructed. Never mind the insanely dumb idea for the integrated binding system, which has brought the company to its knees financially, these skis are awful. I've broken 15 pairs-in one season. The only decent skis LINE has made are the 1260's (which I can break over my knee) and the MTX Assassin -which barely got any recognition. The chronics were OK. But, this company builds flimsy skis-as do many of the other companies. It's like these people do not know a thing about skiing. Plus-they are/were horrible to those they sponsored. These skis broke the third time I took them out this season. All I was doing was skiing switch and hit a booter (not large at all), hucked a double back flip, landed, and the right ski snapped in half. Line should just disappear.

These skis are off the hook. They are so nice. The butter zone on them are fantastic. Just right to pop of kickers and on to rails.
