Tested by Valdez Heli Guides and professional avalanche forecasters, the Life-Link Pit Boss Shovel helps you move tons of snow quickly, yet packs to 11.5in. In addition to the blade's steep sidewalls, which increase strength, it also has a neck-less design, which is both stronger and lower-profile than a standard blade-to-handle interface. With an extendable handle and flat-bottom profile, the Pit Boss is perfect for digging an avie pit or building a huge booter.
