Leatherman Super Tool 200 - 2004
The Leatherman Super Tool 200 is top-of-the-line in compact multi-purpose tools. It's designed with the features Leatherman's customers have asked for, including a saw, a serrated knife blade, and a wire stripper. But most innovative of all is the unique locking mechanism which prevents tool blades from folding during use. This is the strongest, most precise locking mechanism on the market. After a taste of its million-and-one uses, you won't leave home without the Super Tool 200. This year, the Super Tool 200 has been upgraded to include rounded handles and a sliding lock release on the outside for easy access. The serrated knife blade is rounded at the tip for safety. **AVAILABLE WITH STANDARD LEATHER OR BLACK NYLON CASE. CHECK OPTIONS PULL DOWN MENU FOR AVAILABILITY.
Bottom Line: More useful than the kitchen sink—and you CAN take it with you.

It is great although hefty. It is very bulky but that comes with the territory of having that many large and overbuilt functions to a tool. The pliers handle alone is 4 and a half inches. You never feel like it might break, and will get much use from it.
Tough and Simple

This tool has just about everything you need, to fix anything you have. The only thing missing is a hammer (for obvious reasons). I like to keep one in the car, house and my backpack for emergencies or for sheer convenience. Why carry around a toolbox for small repairs when you can keep it on your belt.
Great gadget

I use this all the time--both on backpacking trips but also around the house! I really like the fact that all the tools stay in place while I am using them, which has saved me from some injuries more than once!

I had a Leatherman (model unknown) for years & used it constantly during 10 years of owning an archery store. Like everything that gets used & old, it got loose in the joints. The improvements to the 200 indicate the ingenuity of the Leatherman organization.
Burl!

This thing is so burly that I sometimes actually don't take it with me because it's so heavy. I can definitely feel the weight in my pack when I'm biking or backcountry skiing. But when you need it, there's nothing tougher. All the tools are smooth action goodness.
Excellent Tool!

This is the Swiss Army knife for the next century. It has everything one could expect from a tool, a must have for those day trips or mutli-day excursions into the wilderness. It is rugged, durable, and useful. Just remember not to take it thru airport security.
