Amazing Jacket

This is truly a killer jacket! I got my first when they were Alf. That's been over 16 years ago. The leather on the shoulders and elbows is still the same as when I first bought it. The fleece on the outside hasn't matted, pilled, faded or had any problems at all. The inside is like a thick, warm blanket. The fleece is really thick and super cozy. They're not the most wind resistant although they block the wind better than most fleece. The zippers are very beefy and haven't ever had regular zipper issues. All in all I love this jacket!

I like the Alpenwurx fleece jacket....but regarding the leather...

I like the Alpenwurx fleece jacket....but regarding the leather reinforcements on the shoulders and arms...is it real? Or is it fake leather?

The leather is real leather. I got my 1st of these jackets when it was Alf, which has been roughly 15 or 16 years ago. The leather is still as soft as when I bought it and the fleece hasn't matted down or pilled at all. These jackets are wicked cozy. Hope that helps!
