KEEN Charleston Lace Shoe - Women's
Dressier than your average tennis shoe yet not too cool for school, the Keen Women’s Charleston Lace Shoe fits in just fine about town or on a long walk. The Charleston shoe’s rich leather upper and leather lining are all about class, while the lightweight, grippy soles handle long days just as well as your worn-in old tennies.
Bottom Line: The best of both worlds.

In a different class

The Charleston is not in the same class as Boston, Presidio or Silverlake, my personal favorite. This one is very lightweight, not much support, not much cushion--for fashion only, not function. Nice looking, very slim and streamlined, but not why I buy Keens. I exhanged them for a pair of Presidios.
not the one

I love keens. However, i love keens because they normally have great support (a nice sturdy sole) and help a lot with my back & knee problems. The Charleston's just don't. The sole is more flimsy, has a lot of torque, and this messes me up. I didn't get beyond that to figure out anything else about these shoes, i had to return them. :(
my first Keen miss

I don't really want to say anything bad about Keen because my shoe closet is full of them, but these were a miss. Sizing is really off with these, too. All my 8 pairs of Keens are 7.5, but they were much too small in the Charleston. But size 8 was too big. 7.75, perhaps??
The soles have some strange consistency to them which makes them somewhat slippery on carpet.
All in all, I wasn't impressed with these. Presidios are a better bet.
