KEEN San Mateo Sandal - Women's - 2008
Slip-on sandals don't usually come with toe bumpers, which is a bummer for your biggest piggy. But the Keen Women's San Mateo Sandals are looking out for your big toes. These waterproof leather sandals feature contrast stitching and henna-inspired design for around-town style. The metatomical footbeds and EVA midsoles give cushiony comfort to your feet all day long.
Bottom Line: Keen is looking out for your toes.

I love these shoes... very comfortable... the top leather at first puts a little pressure on your foot but the leather stretches and it is soft so it doesn't take very long to break this shoe in. No blisters or anything during this break in period... It is great for casual or with a skirt or sundress.. has a little more heal height than then the regular Keen Bali or St. Barts sandal so that dresses it up too... great shoe and great quality.. i highly recommend!!! I am going to order the brown ones next... I own 6 pairs of keens and love everyone of them!!!

I was told that you usually have to buy a 1/2 size bigger. Does anyone know if this is true for the Keen San Mateo or not

These are super cute and comfortable for the bottom of my feet but rub the top a little raw. I wonder if I just need to stretch them out a bit, I really like the bottom half so I am pretty disappointed.

I tried the Keen Calistoga sandal, but because my in-step is very high, I was not able to get them on. What about the San Mateo's? Will I be able to wear them if I have a high-instep.

I love my Keen Sandals. Nothing fits better. Keen shoes are the most awesome shoes you can find. Try them all. Myself - I have at least six different kinds from street to trail shoes.
