KEEN Snoqualmie Winter Boot - Men's

Winter comes fast, so get your feet prepared for the cold with the Keen Men's Snoqualmie Winter Boots. One day you're in a tank top and the next you're shaking in your boots if you don't have the protection of the Keen Snoqualmie's waterproof leather uppers and the comfort of their flexible nylon collars. The Snoqualmie's Primaloft insulation should keep your feet from going into hypothermic shock. But keep in mind these first winter stints are often short-lived. As the snow melts, this boot's event waterproof barriers will keep water out, while the nylon linings will wick sweat away from your feet. Compression-molded EVA midsoles mean that your feet stay cushioned and comfy.. The Snoqualmie's dual weather rubber outsoles give you traction and steady footing no matter how manic the weather is this year.

Bottom Line: The Keen Men's Snoqualmie Winter Boots handle the many faces of winter.

Comfortable

Great Boots. I have used these both in the mud and snowy winter days to tropical downpours and dusty ranges here in Australia. Extremely comfortable & dry for winter & summer conditions. After wearing them day after day hiking there is no hesitation to put on again the next day. They are really not suited to extreme hot days but I will stick with comfort.

Light and warm

By:
February 5, 2008

I am very pleased that I bought these boots. They are fitting my purpose of short-walking winter shoes perfectly. They are extremely light and keep my feet warm and dry. The shoes are wide enough for my feet, but needed a week of walking for not to be pressing on my instep.

I need some WARM boots for times when I'm out in cold weather, either standing for a long time, doing a LOT of walking, or both. Will these do the trick? I'm also considering the KEEN Summit County boots too. Any thoughts out there? Thanks much!

I have both the Summit County and Snowsqualmie, they do well to around zero F, but below that in temperature, sorel, kamik, etc is your best bet. But I use the other two pairs in the mid atlantic states and hold up well to slushy city snow. These will not do well in Quebec and places of the like. I am happy with both pairs, the Snowsqualmie, runs kind of tight.

Too easy.

I really do love these boots. I've worn them in ice storms at 70 degrees north on the Arctic Ocean and day hiking in the Cascades in deep snow. There was virtually no break in time. Great boot and great value.

You're good to go, Keens run a little roomier inside.

Kudos to KEENmeisters!

As others have mentioned, I had to order a full size up to get a good fit, but, having done so, I am extremely happy with these boots. They're very warm! I just wore them on a ski trip to Stowe and it was very cold - but my feet weren't! And on the way home I drove in them, and found them easy and comfortable to use over a six hour stint at the steering wheel. Not to mention comfortable to knock around in. They're much lighter than other winter boots I've owned, and with characteristic KEEN toe room they don't fatigue or irritate my feet. Well done, KEENmeisters!

These would be great boots for snowshoeing with the exception of insulation. If your feet run cold I'd consider going to more of a winter boot but if not these would be fine.

Nice Boots

By:
January 7, 2009

Not all users of your gear are climbing the highest mountain or crossing the widest ravine. I was looking for a super warm water proff winter boot primarily to stand around the camp fire with a beer in hand or spend countless days on various athletic fields all winter long. Ordered the Blackcombs first... not warm enough. Ordered these Snoqualmie and I simply love them. They keep my feet warm and dry even while just standing on the frozen snow covered ground. I found they fit true to size and work just fine with a cheap pair of winter socks.

Nice boots, but they run small!

By:
January 14, 2009

These are nice boots - light and warm, and will work well with snowshoes. However, they fit a half to full size smaller than normal Keens. I've been wearing my thinnest socks and hoping the insulation would compress over time, but they still feel too tight, even with dress socks. Disappointing.
