The Arroyo's Metatomical footbed cradles your foot, whether your trail takes you through the wall-to-wall river hiking of the Zion Narrows or a short day hike just outside Durango. Built with multi directional 4mm lugs, the Arroyo will help you stay planted wherever you go. The Arroyo's Aegis Microbe shield keeps bacteria at bay so you don't have to put up with that nasty trail funk. All of Keen's leather uppers are machine washable, so after you plow through some desert mud, one trip through the washer will do the trick.

My All Time Favourite Hiking Shoes

I have used previously a predecessor of this sandal and it my all time favourite hiking wear. I have put thousands of kilometers on on different trails and wear it from May to October. It is sturdy enough to provide good protection all around, has a really good thread, the bed is comfortable and it is open enough to prevent my feet from overheating in the summer. I am so glad Keen decided to bring it back, I can finally retire my old ones.
