Throw all your gear for a week long trip to Tahoe in the Kelty Axle Rolling Gear Bag and get going—you've got a flight to catch. This wheeled duffel bag is plenty big enough for longer journeys, and unlike many duffels, the Axle Rolling Gear bag has the organization tools to keep your gear in order. Three internal storage units keep big items organized, while three external pockets keep toiletries and other small items in their place. Keep your climbing or hiking shoes in the external-access, vented shoe pocket (you don't want your good clothes to smell like climbing shoe funk). I have owned other Kelty bags, and I am a bit disappointed with this one. The material/workmanship is a bit less secure than in other bags. After just two or three short trips, it is already showing signs of wear by the handles. The bag has alot of storage space, but I would caution anyone from filling it fully, as an airplane might not let you bring it on board. It is lightweight and good for travel in the winter to ski destinations. Fits a good few sweaters, pair of boots, some accessories, and things like hats and gloves for a trip, quite easily. Would recommend either another Kelty bag, or another brand however, especially considering this bags high price.
