Kelty Sawtooth Tent 2-Person 3-Season

The Kelty Sawtooth 2-Person, 3-Season Tent has a mesh ceiling to eliminate extra weight without sacrificing internal roominess. The Sawtooth is a three pound, nine ounce three-season tent with an innovative design intended to maximize space. Kelty utilizes a single-sleeved pole with two opposing strut poles in the design of the Sawtooth, making creative use of limited space. The Sawtooth's mesh ceiling allows plenty of airflow on those hot, muggy summer nights. If the weather looks threatening, throw the fully seam-taped fly over the Sawtooth to keep dry without loosing an ounce of breathability and keep your muddy boots protected from the elements under the Sawtooth's vestibule.

Bottom Line: The lightweight, breathable Kelty Sawtooth Tent is ideal for summer backpacking trips or camping in hot, muggy environments.

How does this tent go in the rain/snow?

How does this tent go in the rain/snow?

No experience in the snow, but I have used it in the infamous NC spring rain storms. 40 mph winds and driving rains for 2 days without a drop getting inside. Very well ventilated, easy to set up. Definitey a great solo tent, with 2 Therm-a-rest pads you are practically laying on top of each other, with no room for gear inside. Packs up very small and light. (I use a small compression sack and can get it small enough to pack inside my sleeping bag compartment with my sleeping bag, and carry the poles externally)
