K2 Shuksan Alpine Touring Ski
K2 Shuksan Alpine Touring Ski
K2 got together with AMGA guide Martin Volken to design a randonnee ski that tours effortlessly, but isn't afraid of steep, technical descents—the Shuksan Alpine Touring Ski. This K2 ski isn't one of those only-for-the-fluff planks. Two sheets of Titanal bolster its firm-flexing core, providing the response and edge control you need to pull off turns in everything from spring corn to crust and hardpack. Plus, at only 1600g, the Shuksan Alpine Touring Ski is light enough to take on long backcountry tours and ski mountaineering trips. *Available for US shipment only.
Bottom Line: The Shuksan remains confident in the most harrying backcountry conditions.

Would anyone consider putting tele bindings on these??

Yes, this does make an excellent telemark ski. K2s AT line shares all the same characteristics as there Tele skis but simply eliminate the pre-drill tele mount holes, enabling a more versatile AT mount. This ski is still reinforced for Tele mounting, so drill away.
