You're still trying to teach your little ripper than “slow” zones on the slopes are not optional. Take out last year's broken-in-half ski poles as a reminder. Then show your kid the K2 Kids' 3 Speed Jr. Ski Poles. Eyes get big, fingers start to itch for just-like-the-adults' poles. My 10 year old bent his old poles a while back. I wanted to get him new ones, and bought these based on the reviews and the price. He LOVES them. They are cool looking and the price was perfect! in addition they are very light weight! Since I am 5 feet I enjoy using them too. For the price I will get another pair for me!

I bought my 10 year old son these poles and they worked just fine. He's about 4'10" and I got him the 42" which seemed just right with a little growing room. He thought they looked really cool which is important to 10 year olds so he was happy. These were a good value since I've seen other kids poles at local sporting goods stores for $60+.
