K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski

The folks at K2 are obsessed with skiing, but they don't have speech impediments. They named the K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski for hard-charging big mountain skier Seth Morrison. This new installment in Seth's twin-tip pro model features a fatter 105mm waist, a progressive sidecut, and a short rocker design that adds both floatation in the deep fluffy stuff and versatility on the hardpack. The twin-tip design and unique taper angles help the ObSETHed go from forward to fakie with ease.

Bottom Line: We are ObSETHed with this ski.

Sick sticks.

Last years model are the nastiest, sicky...est things I've ever had the pleasure of riding. Even with all the crap out here sometimes in the East they performed flawlessly. I'm sure these are even better with a slightly wider waist under foot. If in doubt...don't be.

What length of these skis should I get? I am about 6'1 160-165 and a fairly agressive skier. the rocker in these is throwing off what i would normally think my size would be.

RE: Do they ski big mountains in china

By:

Since Xinjang has several peaks that are only a 1-2 thousand feet shorter than Everest, it's quite possible. Also your manufacturing question is irrelevant to how well the ski performs or is made. I've skied both Vashon made K2s and China made K2 with no quality issues. In fact the only skis I've had problems with were Austrian made but I don't assume that Austrian manufacturing is sub-par.

Is this the latest version of K2 Seth?? I see other places that the K2 Seth has 130-98-118 and wondered if this was the same ski but for 08/09?

Epic.

Seriously. I rode these back in March, and honestly... one of the best performing, smile inducing, crud busting, powder floating skis I have had the pleasure to bind my lower appendages to. When you want a snap turn, you get one. When you want speed through powder without compromise of control, you have it. Resilient, lightweight, and up to par with anything on the market. Thank you Seth Morrison.
