K2 T1 DB Snowboard Boot - Men's

Pull on the K2 Men's T1 DB Snowboard Boots, and rule the entire mountain. First, slip your foot into K2's comfortable, insulated 3D Intuition liner and lock down your ankle by turning a Boa knob on the side of the shell. Then tighten down the shell with the Boa knob on the tongue, and you're ready to ride. K2 inserted Harshmellow into the heel and forefoot areas of the boot to absorb the impact of bad landings and gave the T1 a new Vibram Super Light sole for increased traction and decreased weight. Internal and external stiffening bars give you plenty of support for riding trees or hauling down the groomers. When you go into the lodge for a break, simply pop both of the knobs to loosen the shell and liner.

Bottom Line: Get into your boots fast, and lead the charge.

Adjustable for all

This boot is way more advanced than any other boot on the market. Having dual BOA, inside and out, NOT upper and lower shell makes these dial up to almost any foot. I read the other reviews and find it hard to believe that they couldn't get them to fit. IF the last is right for your foot then this boot will dial you in. There is a sliding cross piece in the inside that allows you to set how and where the BOA pulls across. If you have flat feet you position slider high, if you have high arch you position low. Really the people that commented on flat feet in earlier reviews MUST not have known of these adjustments because i've seen it work multiple times. Try and get the heel hold you get with these with any other boot and you'll spend all day doctoring them.

Quick and easy.

These boots go on and off easy and are easy to tighten. You can lock down the ankle and have good feel. Some people worry about BOA but I have never had a problem. Excellent boot that fits really well on my slightly wide feet. I normally wear a size 9 which is what I wore in this boot and it fits perfectly.

Great Snowboarding Boot

I was shopping around for boots for a while and came across this boot online. I had tried on the K2 T1 with the interior BOA and thought they were great: so what could be better than having two BOA's?!? When you first put them on they feel like heaven; they have great ankle support and they feel like they were made for your foot. However, you tighten down the inside boa and then the outside boa and everything feels snug right? Well, it is. In fact I found that when I actually got out on the the mountain it really started to hurt my feet. My first instinct was that (like the previous reviewer) my feet were just too flat and I'd have to return them. But I soon realized that wasn't the case at all. The BOA's just work too well; it's TOO EASY to tighten them more than is really needed. I found that you just need to tighten them till you feel a little pressure on your feet and then stop. The BOA's don't have give like regular laces so you don't have to worry about overtightening and them loosening later. Plus the ease of the knobs let you adjust them with a twist. Getting in and out of then is a breeze as well. If you really want, you can loosen them up in between runs as it is just a pull of the knob. When you're ready, a few twists of the knobs and you're off and running again. The only downside is the price but you are paying for a quality boot.

Great Snowboard Boots!!!

By:

After going to the store I found K2's T1 which has the interior BOA which are pretty nice. Then after looking at K2's Website they had these, with the Double BOA... why get 1 Pair of BOA's when you can get two, right?!? When you first try these on they are like heaven. They have great ankle support and they almost feel as if they were made for your foot only. So the first time I take them out to the mountain, crank the BOA for the inner boot, and then the Outer... All set right? Well through my first run my feet started to hurt. My first instinct was that these boots were just not for me because I kind of have flat feet (like the the other reviewer) and I thought I was going to have to return them. However, I found that this actually wasn't the case at all, they were just too tight. It is acutally TOO EASY to crank them too tight. After loosening them they proved to be the best boot I've ever boarded with. Unlike Laced boots you don't have to tighten them as much as one would think because the BOA's don't give like laces would, just enough so you feel a little pressure is enough. They are a breeze to put on and even easier to get off, just pull the cranks and they are off. If you really want, you could even loosen them between runs and tighten them at the top. The great thing about them is you can adjust them as your day goes on if you need to but after a while you forget their even there. The only downside is that they are kind of pricey but you get what you pay for and these are quality!

These Boots are great but not for me. I have kind of flat feet and these boots when stiff and tightened like i like my boots they hurt the arches and the tops of my feet. i loved the features and the BOA's are great but the pressure points were just wrong for my feet..
