K2 Believer Snowboard

The team-driven K2 Believer Snowboard puts that elusive 900 within your grasp. First, get more speed on the run-in with the Believer's super-fast Sintered 4000 base. Whether you need to speed-check or maintain a carve toward the lip, K2's Hyper Progressive sidecut provides super-easy turn initiation and a smooth, predictable ride. Dual torsion forks give you tons of pop off the lip, while a super-lightweight multi-core that tapers toward the nose and tail reduces swing weight for an easier, faster rotation. Stomp with confidence and ride away clean—you just landed it. Now take it to the powder—the twintip Believer rules in the backcountry too.

Bottom Line: Make laps in the park or hike a huge backcountry booter.

This is THE one

Rode a Believer 154 all season long. It was THE quintessential do-everything board. Good for ripping the all mountain park at Big Bear, and it was good enough for the powder up in Baker. Of course you could get a better rail board (WWW), or you can get a better pow board (Gyrator). But if you can only have one, then look no further. It has good flex, slightly stiffer than the Darkstar, and good sidecut too. You won't be dissapointed.

Lame!

I'm calling BS on this board. Ex Nitro rider Shawn Tedore took the design for the Nitro Team and made the K2 Believer. If you want the real thing pick up the Nitro Team, it costs less, has a 2 year warrant and isn't made in a fishing pole factory.

Great Board

This is a fantastic board if you are looking for a true "all mountain" board. I use it for park, back-country, even a bit of pipe and groomer riding. The only thing I need to say is that if you want something with more pop, get a Darkstar or something of that nature. This board has great pop, but if you want a park-specific board, this is not for you. k2 and Rome both make great park boards, just look around!

All it's cracked up to be?

Not a fan of this board. I just used it at HCSC and had heard good things about it. I'm 58 160 and was on the 56 hitting a small jump. I cleared the jump then SNAP. The board folded in half behind my back binding! I know K2 makes all their boards in China but I wasn't expecting this. Looks like I won't be getting this board in the fall.

i AM a 'believer'...

i demoed this new model last spring & at mt hood. it is an amazing combo of tons of tech. soft enough mid board flex to butter aggressively, yet super sprocky tip/tail. also, has this rubber top sheet that kills the chatter, plus honey comb core that makes it really light. to me, an aggressive freestyler, this has it ALL. indeed...a k2 believer.
