The Jibpan Snowboard completes K2's line of freestyle snowboards. This versatile board is as comfortable on backcountry booters as it is buttering boxes in the park. As you point the Jibpan toward a massive hit, K2's Harshmellow technology cuts down on chatter for a smooth ride, and a 4000 sintered base gives you speed to clear the gap. Ride away cleanly and spin off everything on your way to the terrain park—the Jibpan's Hyper Progressive sidecut, carbon torsion forks, and carbon inlays provide quick response, powerful pop, and a low swing weight. K2's Jib Tip tech integrates a long effective edge with a short nose and tail into this board so you can drop down 5cm in board length and not lose stability.
Bottom Line: The Jibpan is a dish best served ice cold.
I am looking for this board, but I am not sure it will be yhe right one, I am intermediate snowboarder i mesure 1'9" and weight about 145, I usually do some park, not much rail, but planning on doing some, my size boot is 9 . I am snowboarding in Quebec region, so not much powder.
If you are looking at picking up a rail and jibbing board, then this is a sick choice. If you are looking for more of an all around freestyle board, go with the K2 Darkstar. The Darkstar is going to give you enough flex to crush rails and boxes, but it still has enough flex to take down some tree runs or high speed runs. Check the Darkstar out.
