K2 T Nine True Luv Alpine Ski w/ Marker M2 10 Binding - Women's
The K2 Women's True Luv Alpine Ski with Marker Piston M2 10.0 Bindings will help you elevate your skiing to the next level faster than you thought possible. The True Luv's soft-flexing wood core is forgiving and durable, so you'll feel like the skis are working for you, not against you. A versatile 72 mm waist width gives you agility in the trees with enough float for an occasional powder day. Whether you're just learning to carve, can slice up the hill, or are working toward feeling confident on varying conditions, the True Luv Alpine Ski won't let you down. With a DIN of 3-10, the Marker Piston M2 10.0 will stick with you as you become a more skilled all-mountain skier. When you start out, set the DIN low for a safe, easy release. As you begin to carve harder, steadily increase the DIN so you don't pop out prematurely. *Available for US shipment only.
Bottom Line: The K2 Women's True Luv Alpine Ski with Marker's Piston M2 10.0 Binding inspires confidence.

Do you guys set the binding based on ability/weigth etc... Or do I need to bring them to a shop?

without doubt, if you are asking this question you need to take it to a shop. if you love your knees then you will take them to a shop. the twenty bucks you will pay for a binding adjustment is far less than an emergency department bill. also remember to bring your boot!

You can get an idea of what your proper DIN setting is by going to: http://www.dinsetting.com/
Keep in mind that if you choose to not enlist the services of a ski binding technician (one that is properly trained and certified on your brand of bindings, in this case Marker), then you will void any and all warranties or liability that are either expressed or implied by the manufacturer. Adjust bindings AT YOUR OWN RISK.
