Old Town Dirigo 120 Kayak

Paddle across the lake or along the seashore in the Old Town Dirigo 120 Kayak. This super-stable recreational kayak gives you a comfortable, relaxing ride on the water. Use the easily accessible controls on the right side to adjust the Xtra Comfort Seat, which pivots forward while remaining flat on your back for customized support.. Moisture-resistant material keeps this cushioned seat from absorbing water and making your bum wet. Old Town gave the Dirigo 120 Kayak a wallet/cell phone dry hatch so you have a place to stash your goods if a storm rolls in, and the back hatch holds your lunch and extra layers. Stash your waterproof maps and water bottle under the deck bungees and head out into the wild blue yonder.

Bottom Line: Old Town's Dirigo 120 Kayak gives you a comfortable, stable ride across the lake or along the seashore.

Great Kayak, Great Company, Great Store

This Kayak is awesome. When it arrived I couldn't believe the quality at such a low price. The seat is cushy and adjusts to fit me. The little extras like a waterproof hatch big enough to fit my camera is great. I hadn't tried a kayak with foot holds before, what a nice feature. This site delivered in a timely manner. I'll order from them again. I am new to kayaking and tried out several different types/brands before purchasing. Other than size they all seemed pretty much the same. I picked this one because I saw an image with an adult and child and wanted one big enough for my dog to hop in on occasion but not too big to struggle loading and unloading on my own. Another plus is I won't have to license/register it. SD state law requires all water craft over 12' must be licensed/registered. This kayak is 12'.

I just purchased this kayak. I live in the Chicago land area and I am 1. interested in finding a web site that will help me map out some trips and 2. I would like to know if I can take this on Lake Michigan.
