Jetboil Coffee Press
The Jetboil PCS Coffee Press turns your mild-mannered Jetboil Personal Cooking System into a caffeine-fueled, fire-breathing java machine with a swap of the lid. Featherlight at 1.2 oz and simple enough for anybody to operate, the PCS Coffee Press helps you say no to instant coffee and say yes to a cup of your favorite brew in the wilderness.
Bottom Line: Join the caffeine nation.

whoa! I smell coffee!

Hands down the best field coffee you will taste. In fact, in my hiking group I can usually find volunteers to carry any component of it that I don't want to carry if I mention making coffee. Word of warning: I think the fill limit is like 16oz for the JB. I have pushed this to about 24oz when making the coffee. I attempted to go more once but got nailed by the inverse of "a watched pot never boils" and had a java volcano that sprayed about 3 feet in the air. Good show! Great coffee! Use a courser grind.
Just a quick reminder...

This Coffee Press is God's gift to humankind, but please remember not to add your coffee grounds until you have turned the heat off. To make proper French press coffee you pour boiling water over your grounds and steep for four minutes. My tried-and tested-method is to get a second Companion Cup (Item # JET0003). I put the grounds in the extra, boil water in the other one, and pour the boiling water in the spare that is not attached to the stove. It works great!!!
An essential for camping

There is nothing better than coffee in the wilderness but actually good coffee is purely from heaven. This thing is lighter than a lighter and works great. We would boil the water in the PCS then pour coffee grounds in (we used percolated sized coffee grounds) and push this thing down. Make sure to go slow because the grounds can jump up around the filter. But with the lid on, pour away! I took one sip on the first morning and was surprised at the outcome of actually delicious coffee. The stem unscrews into two pieces so it easily fits in your PCS. Seriously, a 10 essential piece for your backpacking trip! I'm replacing my percolator for sure! And forget that instant crap...

The Jetboil Coffee Press is great I used it to replace my French press to consolidate space. Haven't had a problem with my morning joe. Worth the money and takes up little room.

I do not drink coffee, but in order to get my friends up and moving faster in the morning to get climbing I made them coffee. I had never used a coffee press in my life and learned quickly. Make sure you push it down slowly or you will shoot coffee all over the place! But my friends were stoked and we were climbing faster than if there was no coffee. the boiling was like 60 seconds....GREAT!

I was a little sceptical before using this coffee press with my Jetboil. But it works great! I usually have to press it twice to keep the grounds out, no big deal. Now I can make a cup of coffee where ever or when ever I want. You don't want to see me without my daily cup of coffee. Seriously.
