JanSport Superbreak Backpack - 1550cu in

The Jansport Superbreak Backpack's proven design and not-too-huge sizing will make it the big bag on campus…again. With plenty of space for books, workout clothes, or the day's provisions (and no extra clutter), the Superbreak works as nicely in the commuter circuit as it does on campus. Jansport designed this simple, durable daypack with 2/3-length back panel padding for cushioning while you navigate a sea of students. The front accessory pocket includes a built in media sleeve, so you can rock out from point A to point B.

Bottom Line: A minimalist urban pack—because minimal is usually plenty.

Loving the Scarlet Red

By:

I love my super-break backpack! It carries all of my books, notebooks, and binders that I need for school. I use it every day and get compliments on it about how it looks like one of the first edition backpacks JanSport came out with. It's also very comfortable with other backpacks they always wrenched on my back and gave it pain but with this one I have no back troubles! Thank you JanSport.

Jansport backpack

This was a gift for my niece's daughter and it was perfect from the color to the space. This is my second experience with your web site and have been highly satisfied both with the products and the Customer service which is way above what I expected. Will be shopping again. Maureen

A pack of this size should be perfect for her. The tough 600 Denier Poly will take whatever beating an 8 year old will dish out too.

To small

It seems to me like this is a bag for a child...or maybe a small adult. I'm 6', 195lbs and this feels to me like a small Barbie bag. I had to return it to get the bigger 2100 cu in backpack.

I am in high school and I am taking a lot of classes and this back pack seems to be the only one that doesn't hurt my back. I have tried all the other "comfort and support" backpacks but they just don’t compare to this simple and comfortable design!

Finally got a chance to try the backpack on a trip to the Canadian Rockies. Was a great carry on for the flight to Calgary. Then it was just what I needed for day hikes in the mountains.

I stick with the basics.

Fancy schmancy. I like simple backpacks. All the sporty, super-modern-crazy-technological stuff may be useful if you're climbing mountains or whatever, but if you need something for the daily use, nothing beats a good, old Jansport basic. I got my Superbreak in black, with a twist: corduroy. Stylish and simple.

I found this website looking for places where they sold Jan Sport backpacks at a good price. I found the Super Break backpack so I ordered it, thinking the color on display was a dark grey color with a touch of blue color. It said it was called E-Blue, so I ordered it. But then when I received it, it was more like a royal blue. I was kind of upset but afterwards I loved it.

So Far So Good

My daughter is beating this pack up and down her 7th grade halls and it is holding up fine at this point. Holds more than what it looks like it can.
