Jansport Odyssey Daypack - 2350cu in

The Jansport Odyssey Daypack offers comfort and versatility over rough, rugged terrain. Jansport combined an urban daypack's organizer panel and media pocket with the suspension and support of a heavy-duty hiking pack. Tuck the padded hip-belt away when you're on campus, and use it at the trailhead when you need the support. The internal frame sheet and aluminum stay disperse weight evenly, whether you're carrying gear or a bunch of textbooks. The Odyssey features side water bottle pockets and a built-in hydration sleeve. Daisy chains let you clip your Nalgene or climbing harness to the outside of the pack, and reflective hits increase you safety at night.

Bottom Line: Whether your odyssey takes you through a canyon or across campus, this Jansport backpack gives you the support and features you need.

Excellent

I bought this Backpack for High School, College, light daypacking and travel in general. I absolutely love this bag! it holds more than i thought it would. It holds all of my college text books, notebooks and a laptop with plenty of room for some water, snacks, and my rain jacket. The only down side i can find is that on occasion if the bag sits in a certain way the shoulder straps can get sideways and can be slightly uncomfortable. Other than that, this bag is a superior pack. In a matter of a few words, Large, Light and Versatile.

I've had this pack for about 1 year now; I have it in the blue and black colors. It is extremely well constructed and excellent for organizing your things with four deep pockets and one shallow pocket on top. I use it daily for commuting, and the only downside is that it's a bit heavy at close to 4 pounds, but even so, it's comfortably padded. Also a plus: I've been caught in a major downpour with the pack on, and it dried fairly quickly (but it's not waterproof, so be sure to protect your electronic items).

Versatile

This product exudes quality in it`s materials and there are many pockets with those comfortable, larger than usual zippers that allow you to organize several different areas to carry your stuff in. The shoulder straps have a special cushion that makes it comfortable for heavier loads, and you have the hipstrap for the really heavier stuff on longer runs. One thing you should notice is that it is larger than it looks. The good side is that I can carry something to wear, a 15" laptop and a SLR with a rather long lens attached, with pockets for accessories. The downside is that it is a little larger than I would like it to be when I`m carrying my stuff around town, because you`ll want to use it for carrying everything you need to, everywhere you go.

I've had this bag for a couple of weeks and so far it's been great. i haven't filled it to the max yet, but i don't think I'll ever have to. it's very spacious and easy to keep things organized with all the pockets. i highly recommend this bag for anyone. it's well worth the price.
