The generously-sized JanSport Klamath 85 Backpack is an excellent choice for week-long backpacking trips. With seven compartments to help organize your gear, the Klamath 85 gives you the convenience of a bedroom dresser in the backcountry. This internal-frame backpack has an extendable lid and bivy with a zippered compartment for quick access to smaller essential items, and the side panel provides easy sleeping bag access. To ensure a precise fit, the harness plate adjusts for 17.5- to 19.5-inch torso lengths and the shoulder width adjusts up to two inches. Ergonomically designed S-curve shoulder straps keep you pain free on long hauls. The Klamath features a breathable mesh back panel to keep you dry and comfortable on longer hikes.

im using in this moment the klamath in Europe... in so useful.. very comfortable... and the most important thing... its 100% adjustable... very recommended!

Will this pack survive in the boundary waters in northern MN?

If you're hiking, then yes, this pack will do you fine in the boundary waters. I don't think this pack is waterproof, so you might want to use a pack cover while you're out. If you're paddling, you'll be much better off using dry bags.
