Ibex Shak Full-Zip Sweatshirt - Women's

I love everything I've gotten from Ibex. It's warm, sustainable, fashionable, etc. I don't use this as a technical piece because it's a great looking sweater and it feels good to put on after a hard day of biking or snowboarding. The sizing is true.. i usually wear med. and this med. fits perfectly. It's pricey stuff but definitely worth it!

i live in Alaska and use this sweater for winter biking, skiing, mountaineering, and on adventure and rafting trips. it works very well for layering (sleek enough to fit under a shell and above a lightweight layer and long enough to tug into pants if the need arrives). And one of main points for me is that the sleeves are long enough (big plus!). Additionally, this can be worn for days on end without the nasty polypro smell. love everything about it. highly recommended.

If you haven't tried merino your missing out. This is a great piece. A slim fit, but I can still wear a merino t-shirt under it. It is a good length - I'm 5'7" - it hits below my belt on lower rise jeans. I love the weight, very versatile. I wear it as a sweater in winter and a coat the rest of the year. You won't be disappointed!

My mom is about the most difficult person in the world to shop for and when her birthday came up, this is the first thing that popped in my head. I have the 1/4 zip version of this sweater and my mom loves full-zip sweaters all year round. She looks great in this piece and said it was her favorite birthday gift. She wears it when she is at her mountain home during the summer, where it gets chilly at night, and plans to wear it all winter. It fits her really well and the cute zip in the front is a unique touch. I can't remember what color I got but she loved it. I am quite jealous of this sweater, might be buying one for myself!

I recommend this sweater as the most satisfying purchase I've made in years. Living in the Pacific Northwest I run into the problem of trying to find the right weight and fabric clothing for before and after my trail runs. I've found many mens' garments are bulky, oversized and less effective, so I bought a women's XL and the snugness of the fit works perfectly for my runner physique. The sweater is truly an amazing, stylish garment that is remarkably functional and warm. Before a run it keeps me warm without being cumbersome. I often warm up in a parking lot wearing it,continue to wear it on really cold, wet days, or put it on again after finishing a workout, usually when I'm soaked and changing in the back of my SUV. The sweater is a godsent at helping me warm up again without having to wear some absurdly bulky down jacket. As a day to day sweater, it also works great, is again really stylish and shows no sign of wear or tear even though it's worn just about every other day.
