The clean, trim look of the weather- and wind-resistant Helly Hansen Men's Duro Softshell Jacket is the direct result of its functional design, and both are reasons why you'll rarely leave it at home. The enhanced mobility of stretch-woven softshell fabric allows Helly Hansen to tailor a closer fit, so the Duro Jacket looks as sharp strolling through town as it does breaking trail. Throw up the hood (a rarely-seen feature on non-waterproof softshells) for extra warmth and weather coverage when the skies darken, or leave it down and revel in the chill aura it bestows on your appearance. The soft brushed surface inside enhances moisture management and strokes your skin in times of stress.
Bottom Line: Pick a time, pick a place, and be sure to pack your Duro Jacket.

Hi guys, I'm looking for a soft shell jacket that's good for day-to-day use during the winter in the north east. something that will resist the rainy/sleety days, but won't cause me to over heat in class. price isn't really an issue, mostly just water resistance, but i'd like to to be warm enough for the cooldest, crappyiest days, yet still flexible for the warmer ones, any ideas, let me know
