Heritage Kayaks FeatherLite 14 Kayak

Wait a minute, fast, sturdy, and sleek? Yup. The Heritage Kayaks FeatherLite 14 Kayak has a long profile and a molded skeg that allow for serious cruising, while the large cockpit won't squish your legs or make you feel like you're about to tip over at any moment. The inside of the FeatherLite fourteen-foot Kayak stores enough gear for a short overnight trip, while a small stern hatch holds snacks and a camera. This lightweight Heritage Kayak's cushiony seat keeps your back and butt from complaining on your lake tours.

Bottom Line: Paddling a barge-shaped boat might be unbelievably stable, but you won't go far. Or fast. Hop into the Heritage Kayaks FeatherLite 14 Kayak and experience smooth, speedy cruising.

Heritage Kayaks FeatherLite 14 Kayak

Great Kayak! I live along Lake Superior and many inland lakes. This kayak performs awesome on both. It turns on a dime, tracks very well, has a good cruising speed. I weigh 220 and can pack around 120 more pounds of gear with great buoyancy and performance still. I find without gear, the front is a little light. I love that it has a huge opening which allows easy access in and out along with storage. The seat is comfortable, not as fancy as other manufacturer's but works very well and keeps you dry and cool in hot weather. I always feel stable in it with or without gear. Fairly light for portaging, overall I love it because I can use it for recreation, fishing, and long touring in the BWCA. I recommend this kayak for multiple use which I was looking for.
