Head Skis USA Head J.O. Pro Alpine Ski

Drop into the park with the J.O. Pro Alpine Ski. This Twintip ski features Air Coat hollow glass laminate to give you a super light, poppy ski for precise butters and bomber edge grip, if you can manage to peel your eyes of the topsheet’s graphic. The tech construction also increases the overall strength of the ski to give you for bomber durability, season after season. The J.O. Pro ski's narrower 77mm waist is lightning quick from edge to edge, which is key for fast reaction times in the pipe or park. A super fast UHM C die-cut base gives you excellent glide, so you'll have enough speed to clear the lip.

Bottom Line: You may not throw Kangaroo Flips like Jon, but you have no excuse not to stomp on the Head J.O. Pro Model.

These skis are super super super soft, but still really really poppy and also way light. Remember that a ski that butters really well won't stomp landings very well, so you will have a bit of a tradeoff. This ski is light, but more poppy than buttery, so it can still stomp fairly well. If you want something kind of in between check out the AR6 or the Suspects. Those are both the skis that JF Houle was able to get nose butter 270's on in Dew Tour and was still able to stomp his jumps with because those skis are so legit. Honestly though, this ski is a nice contender.

I didn't really know what to think when first getting on these skis. Flexing them before hitting the snow, i knew they had a tad soft flex which is nice for butters and presses. I feel that they were a tad too soft for my liking as I usually ride Suspects which have a little more stiffness and pop.

The flex through me off a little, but just messing around the mountain these were a ton of fun. As I mentioned, their softer flex really did well on rails and boxes, and theyre pretty light for popping off tables.

The contruction I would change up. Cap construction? Not a big fan of that. Graphics are ill with the fly lady eyeing you while you rip. Overall, solid ski with a soft flex. 3 out of 5.
