Garmin Rino 120 - 2007
The Garmin Rino 120 is state-of-the-art GPS navigation and two-way communications combined, with enough memory to download detailed mapping for driving, hiking, hunting, fishing—or just about anything else you can dream up. It's waterproof and can beam your exact location to another Rino user within a two-mile range. The Rino's exclusive position reporting feature allows you to send and receive GPS positions from other Rino users. You can keep track of your friends on skiing or camping trips, sporting events, and other outdoor adventures. The radio functionality of the Rino 120 provides two-way communications for up to two miles, and you can talk to friends or family who own conventional FRS radios. There's also a voice scrambler and a vibration mode for silent calls. The Rino 120 has a built-in basemap consisting of American road and highway detail, along with 8 MB of internal memory for downloading additional road, street, and points-of-interest data from MapSource MetroGuide , Fishing Hot Spots, Topo, or BlueChart CD-ROMs. The PC-interface cable comes with the Rino 120. Speak hands-free when you purchase the Garmin Earbud speaker/microphone accessory. –Vendor
Bottom Line: This magical GPS maps, communicates, and vibrates! Now, if only it would do your laundry.
Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.
The coolest kind of a talk and track devise for a GPS.

The Garmin Rhino 120 is such a cool tool to have when your out exploring with friends. The 2 items into one unit is very important since 1 less item to carry is more. A color LCD screen version will be my next upgrade with this product. I use my Rhino 120 in my car and on my mountain bike with their proper mounts when I'm out. The additional memory storage is also cool when your needing to add more detailed maps. You can also see where your buds are and in which bar while your still outside making powder tracks. If it had color screen would have given it 5 star rating.
