Gregory Z 30 Backpack - 1650-1920cu in

Thanks to a lightweight suspension system, the Gregory Z30 Backpack keeps your gear comfortable on your back, so you can handle your day-hike or morning summit trip without feeling like you have a 50 pound safe strapped to your back. The Z30 daypack's framesheet supports your heavy loads, and a mesh back panel promotes airflow across your back as you heat up on the trail. A front zippered pocket and side mesh pockets hold maps, sunscreen, and snacks, and this Gregory backpack's front dump pocket keeps your rainjacket accessible. Stay hydrated with your water reservoir in the Z30 Backpack's hydration sleeve. Choose the medium pack when you need a little more space for your all-day adventures.

Bottom Line: The Gregory Z30—because your daypack should handle weight just as comfortably as your weeklong pack.

Just used this as a day pack for Kilimanjaro. Very comfortable, and comes in sizes to fit a small torso person. Also fits under an airplane seat.

1)Call Gregory and see what they can do for you. They may have you send it in and replace the zipper for a nominal fee. I've had great experiences with their costumer service in the past.

2)Take it in to a local gear shop. Ask if they have a seamstress (or know of one) that will do custom jobs.

3)Buy a new pack! Buying new stuff is always fun!

Got a question? Somebody out there has the answer.

What's with the sizing of this pack? Only S and M are offered......

What's with the sizing of this pack? Only S and M are offered... Do these refer to back length, as w/ most packs, or just to pack volume? (If the former, I'd assume a size L would be offered as well...)

This pack is very comfortable for dayhikes. It allows plenty of air circulation so your back isn't soaked when you take it off. It has plenty of room for a days needs.
