Gnu Riders Choice BTX Snowboard

New for '09, GNU updated the Riders Choice BTX Snowboard with Banana Technology. The new Banana-Traction reverses the camber of the area between your feet, giving you extra tip and tail float in powder. That added float allows you to ride this true twin about 3 inches shorter than your regular board. In the words of GNU, “Your jib board is now your pow board.” The lightweight AG1 core pops high enough to make your mom nervous, and the twin radial sidecut allows you to comfortably go both ways (don't worry, we're not judging you). GNU's UHMW sidewalls treat rails like fat kids treat buffet spreads—load, destroy, repeat.

This board is sooooo fabulous, fun and smoooooth. Ruts simply disappear when you ride over them and you can butter muffins all day long. The Rider's Choice BTX handles jumps better than the Skate Banana due to it's directional flex pattern inside the twin-park shape (this $#!+'S GOT POP!). The inside inserts have been moved to the outside for a wider stance option. Powder more your thing? set your binders an inch back and you'll out-perform weird dude's with long ponytails and swallowtails.

SO glad that GNU has adopted the Banana technology! As if the Riders choice didn't already kill it, now it's got the ultimate snowboard construction! I've had the chance to demo this board for a good portion of the last season and swear by it. The construction is tough, the pop is powerful and the fun has been increased by at least 35% !! The combo of the Mag and banana is what makes the construction really work. This thing is a perfect ALL AROUND killer! No more need of a quiver. Save yourself some serious cash and buy one snowboard that works better in EVERY condition than most snowboards in some conditions!
