The helmet itself gets 5 stars.. Its got awesome looks and I like looking like a BSG marine :) :) BSG used these exact same helmets to save cost and weight.

The audio gets 3 stars though.. for being very mediocre. They don't have a great soundstage and they sound better when you push the earflaps against your ears... but you wont be able to do this when you're riding down the mountain.

I wish GIRO teamed up with a different company than skullcandy to make their audio flaps.

Does the helmet have a goggle holder thing on the back.

Helmet is great. The skull candy ear flaps work great especially with the inline mute button. Limited padding but still fit okay.

Does the helmet have a goggle holder thing on the back.

Yes it does. It's a fabric flap to hold the goggles in place, and it has the lieutenant strips on it.

The padding is a little sparse but I was using a toque underneath in 40 below temp and music kept pumping. The skull candy pause button works great as well.

The helmet is surprisingly comfortable and has great sound quality. The only problem is that goggles can't sit well on the front of it because of the curved rim.

This helmet has no ventilation, Does it get really hot?

Depends on your activity level/outside temp. Definitely wouldn't wear it in warm weather, but if it's freezing outside it's probably alright as long as you aren't thrashing too hard. I would probably recommend one with ventilation, as you can always throw on a beanie but you can't just drill holes. I really like my Bern helmets, more comfortable than some low-level giros that I have worn (softer foam)
