The Women's Ionos Helmet takes the top seat in Giro's family of ridiculously light and cool road helmets. Twenty-one oversized vents gulp air into Wind Tunnel channels, keeping you cooler than riding without a lid, and 15% cooler than the 2007 flagship Atmos Helmet. The exposed composite subframe allows the Ionos its ethereal design, and looks totally sweet to boot.

I honestly don't think Giro applies to be certified for Australian Standards, but I'll call dealer support tomorrow and see what they can tell me.

At any rate, Giro does make top notch helmets. Giro and Bell are the only two brands (exact same company) I trust with my head.
