Good padding on the inside. THe goggle strap works to perfection. But the best part is the color. We got the red with flames -- not only does my son think it's cool, but I have no problem spotting him on the mountain with everyone else in a black helmet!

I bought this for my 12 month old and it is a little big but fits great with a hat. The goggles stay on well too. The helmet has an adjustable liner inside which is very nice. My friends 4 year old used it to go for a ride on the snowmobile and it fit his head well also. The chinstrap is a little long. It seemed big even on the 4 year old.
