Giro G9 Helmet

The G9's freestyle inspired looks and state of the art protection helps give you the confidence to stomp that new trick you've been working on. The G9 Helmet's impact- absorbing foam liner takes the brunt of huge impacts, so your brain doesn't have to. The tough polycarbonate outer shell will take multiple seasons of small hits. Once you get tired of the park, hike the ridge for some freshies. Giro gave the G9 helmet 12 vents to keep you cool and comfortable on the way up. If the temperature drops and the wind picks up on top, plug the vents with the included Weatherstrip vent plugs. The G9's ample venting and light weight make it an excellent choice for backcountry riding as well.

Just used this on boarding holiday for the first time. Really pleased with the purchase, the helmet is very light so hardly feel you're wearing it. The oter good thing is that the dial on the back of the helmet to tighten the fit means you can wera with or without a hat underneath in cold weather and still get a really snug fit. My only regret is not getting one with ear pads that connect up to an ipod but I may be able to buy these spearately. If you're not fussed about listening to music though I'd highly rate this

I used to have a RED helmet from year and years ago and I have tried on many many helmets trying to find one that fit my head really well. The G9 was the one! It is comfortable...WARM! you can have the vents closed or open. Which is KEY for me! I wear a small in this and it fits me perfect. I wear small in all skate helmet brands, protec and triple 6. This helmet fits really great with my Von Zipper Sizzles. The chin strap is really comfortable and is not bulky. The ear flaps are warm and comfortable as well. Overall I am stoked on this helmet and have met many people who have this helmet and are stoked on it also. I still feel like a chick with this on.

Giro G9 Helmet- Womens

Just skiied Hokkaido, Japan, minus 12 Celcius, and lots of trees. I chose to wear a ski-helmet for the 1st time in 35 years after breaking my bicycle one, and realising the consequences! This hemet was WARM(no beanie), light, comfortable and gave no goggle forehead gap. I initially bought a Medium- which was a little big even for my 57cm diam head. However it fitted my step-daughter, and a repeat purchase on the Small was great. The goggle catch is very secure, and there is an easy adjustment wheel. The pink floral design wasn't too lairy! Top marks!

Giro will not let you down!

I searched the web over looking for the perfect helmet. I have always liked Giro for Mtn. Bike helmets, and that led me to purchasing their ski helmet. I have a large cranium, and the G9's adjustable sizing band allows for a snug fit with or without a skullcap. The ear pieces and chin strap are extremely comfortable also. In addition, the removable vent plugs are easy to remove and put in your pocket. I would always recommend at least looking at helmets at a local store, but then coming back to the web to get the best deals. This site and the Giro G9 were the best combination for me. I would defiantly recommend this helmet to everyone. Go Giro!
