Garmont Nagevi Hiking Shoe - Women's

I was having a hard time finding Approach shoes in my size, so I decided to give these hiking shoes a try. I'm glad I did. Right out of the box they fit great. For being 'cute shoes' they're really comfortable and solid. I can't wait to beat them up in the desert!

These hiking shoes are like a pair of slippers. You put them on and forget about them. They do look good too!!

This is by far the most durable, comfortable hiking shoe I have ever owned. I hike regularly, five miles a day, four to five times per week, up a steep, rocky, slippery trail to the summit of a small local mountain. These shoes take a beating, they have excellent sticky grippy tread, they are extremely comfortable, and they look cool too. Other brands have fallen apart after one season. My first pair of Garmont's lasted me four good years, and in the fourth and fifth years they finally started to fall apart and wear out. For the price, you can't beat that. This is an excellently crafted strong shoe!

Great shoes that make your feet happy! They look awesome too. They run a little big, so I had to return them.

Great traction, great support and cushioning, super lightweight, great looks, no break-in time required; The down-side: lace-system relies on skinny nylon webbing... mine snapped in less than one month wear- good thing I know how to sew.

I ordered these boots, needing a pair of work shoes with good arch support to take back with me to Honduras. They looked fine when I got them out of the box, and I really hoped that they would fit. However, I never had a pair of shoes hurt me like these. It seemed like the arch support or something was set too far back towards the heel. I have to think that this must have been a defective pair. Surely this wouldn't be the design. I tried walking around the house with them for a half hour, willing them to fit, but no luck. I did like the look and weight, so perhaps another time I can find a pair that are correctly constructed. I hope they do a better job at quality control. It makes me wonder how many times this same pair (Garmont Nagevi Hiking Shoe - Women's Grey/Cornflower, size 8.5) will be or have already been returned?

Didn't want to schlep my hiking boots on a trip out West and bought these instead. Extremely comfortable and relatively light-weight. Pretty much feels like a shoe but holds up on the trail. Bought a half size larger and they're perfect.

Perhaps. The Nagevi is comfortable right out of the box, has a great gripping sole, fits my very narrow feet, and, well, looks sharp too. I haven't used it in bad weather, so no reports on that. But after several decent length hikes, this is the best hiking shoe of this category I've owned.
