Garmont G-Ride G-Fit Alpine Touring Boot - Men's - 2006
The Garmont G-Ride G-Fit Alpine Touring Boot set the standard for touring and skiing performance. The improved G-fit high liner incorporates burlier exterior materials for greater responsiveness and comfort and an added lace-up system for even better fit. Garmont also redesigned the walk/ski switch as a protected lever that won't accidentally become unlocked in the middle of your descent. The new magnesium canting system system allows you to achive a precisice fit in a snap. Take the G-Ride G-Fit Touring Boot on long tours and have the confidence to ski the meanest lines and drive your fatty planks with the burly four-buckle design. NOTE: Be sure to check out our sizing chart for optimal fit.
Bottom Line: G-Ride your way to bigger peaks and bigger lines.

My favorite boots yet.

Very lightweight, comfortable and supportive. The G-fit liners are much more comfortable after heat-molding them. Very comfortable while skinning, and impressively stiff on the downhill for an AT boot, especially being this lightweight. There are two ski settings, "fwd" and neutral; the "fwd" setting feels unnatural to me, but neutral setting has been great in deep snow. Other people may have different experiences in the two settings. The cant adjustment is great if you have bow-legs like I do. Overall, a lightweight, durable, warm, comfortable, moderately stiff AT boot that serves well for those who ski more BC than resort.
Awesome touring boot

I love my G Rides. They are stiff, responsive and high quality. They're easy to get in and out of, and once you heat mold them they fit like a glove. My only complaint would be the inner liner lacing is kind of hard to lace when it's cold out.
