Fischer Rebound Crown

There's no need to wallow in the deep stuff when you have the Fischer Rebound Crown touring skis. The S-Deck system gives you extra lift and leverage to help initiate turns, and the turning crown scales won't have you eating snow on a hard turn. The Rebound Crown also features Fischer's most dramatic Nordic sidecut and deepest camber to help float the ski and turn smoothly, even in the fluffy stuff. It's a solid ride for distance touring without fuss; ski rolling terrain and long moderate climbs with ease, all without having to deal with complicated waxing patterns and temperatures.

Bottom Line: The Fischer Rebound Crown will extend your tours in the backcountry.

BWCA Winter Rocks

Hello everybody, I spent 3 days in the BWCA in MN with these skis and I couldn't be happier. We had great conditions across the lakes and the skis were fast and we also had deep snow about knee deep that I had to blaze for about 280 rods and these skis rocked. I was able to blaze a path for the other 3 that were trailing with sleds and the downhills were soooo much fun. These skis had a lot of mobility, turns and control. I loved skiing with them on the open lakes and they tracked very well. These were my first pair of BC skis and I wouldn't recommed anything esle. I'm going to buy my wife a pair. You can't go wrong with these at all. Love them. Peace

When buying skis, do you factor pack weight in when determining the recommended length, or just use your (without gear) weight? I always wear a 25 pound pack.
Thank you!

Excellent Turns

These skis provided me with the best turns and overall control I've ever had in back-country x-c. They were stable and responsive even in hard and icy conditions.

Good flotation and turning!

I've used these skis a few times now, and I'm impressed with their off trail ability, mainly with regards to turning, and flotation. They don't do as well on a packed trail as they do off trail, being the deep side cut hinders their ability to track well. They are very fast on the downhill, but don't kick as well as the narrower BC skis that I've used. Great ski if you intend to do 90-100% off trail adventures.

Rebound Crown

My wife and I bought Rebound Crowns a couple of years ago. We couldn't be happier. Our backcountry skiing experience has evolved. Turning is a breeze! whether tele turns or parallel. You will want mohair skins for steep climbs.
