Ex Officio Give-N-Go Brief - Men's

Ex Officio's Give-N-Go fabric—a stretchy, fast-drying blend of nylon and spandex. The material pulls sweat away from your body to improve comfort and reduce chafing. Ex Officio always makes its products functional for adventure travel, and the Men's Give-N-Go Brief is no exception. Laundromats are hard to find at the ends of the earth, which is why Ex Officio treated these travel briefs with an antimicrobial, stink-fighting finish.

Bottom Line: Comfort starts with your first layer—give yourself the comfort of the Ex Officio Give-N-Go Brief.

Best underwear ever...

By:
November 7, 2008

I bought the women's brief and boy cut for me and I love them. My husband like the material so we ordered some for him too. He's a convert now. These are our number one choice in underwear for hiking and traveling due to the soft wicking material that doesn't wedge up.

I have purchased your mens given go briefs previosly (2years ago) and want the same style. I gather by some of your customers you have changed this brief slightly. I have skinny legs, so don't want my private pats to fall out. Do you still sell the older style? I also live in Australia, so I assume the same deal applies if i spend us$50 free shipping?

I don't think Backcountry or other major retailers with significant stock turnover still sells the older style. Try www.hisroom.com -- I believe their stock is the old kind.

Good Underpants

By:
October 23, 2008

I like them a lot. I was happy to finally take them off after 4 days without washing but looking back I think it was more psychological than physical. I will probably buy more.

My favorite briefs

By:
October 13, 2008

I've worn this almost exclusively now for about 4 years (the only competition are cotton briefs from Woolworth's in South Africa). They are light, make a small footprint for travel packing, and very, very comfortable. You can't go wrong here.

Very fast drying

By:
September 18, 2008

These are super fast drying (4hrs) which is great while traveling. They are also great if you have to sit alot - such as during a long plane ride! Unfortunately they are not as comfortable as I would like - they feel more like boxers than briefs.

Good but different from older style

By:
August 20, 2008

Ex Officio makes fantastic travel underwear, for all the reasons other reviewers have listed (lightweight, compact, quick-drying, absorbent, etc.). Be aware, though, that in 2008 Ex Officio redesigned this brief. The material is the same, but there is one improvement and one problem: on the older style, the fly sometimes gapped; Ex Officio eliminated this problem by redesigning the fly. But they also expanded slightly the size of the leg holes, such that if your thighs aren't really big, there might be a gap where the material meets your legs, particularly in the back. This can cause the brief to ride up. How do you tell the two styles apart (while they're both still on the market)?: the older ones have a plain, unmarked elastic waistband; the newer ones have "EX OFFICIO" stitched around the waistband.

Great fit and Price!

By:

I purchased three different styles of the Ex Officio underwear and I would definitely say that this is the best fit. The front let part is cut higher than the back, which creates an amazing fit. Grey also looks fantastic in this style. Living in Canada, the cost to purchase the Ex Officio underwear through this site is a fantastic deal, as even with the cost of shipping, they were cheaper than purchasing them in a local store.

I just really like these u-pants. I tested a pair while backpacking and have decided to use them for everyday as well as business travel. Good feel to the skin and easily washed in the hotel room sink.

Great underwear no problems. Fit well, very light, breathable, and durable. Only negative is they are a little pricey.

Good pair of underwear

By:

Comfortable briefs, fit well. Pack anywhere. They take up much less room than the cotton briefs I am used to. They dry quickly, but still usually overnight. Don't expect to wash a pair before dinner and be ready to change into them for a night on the town (though a hair dryer just might make that possible).

Great buy

By:
September 16, 2007

I bought these underwear for camping. They were great; light weight and quick drying. Since then I have used them for running in my CW-X Pro short tights. They don't bunch up and once again they wick well. I live in Miami, FL and with all the heat and humidity they do a great job of support, wicking, comfort, and light weight.

I love these briefs for traveling, (quick drying), looks and because they are comfortable and great for sports, as they give great support. I wear them for bike riding and going out for the evening. Definitely worth the money.

Comfortable briefs.

By:
March 26, 2007

I wore these briefs on the airplane ride to skiing (8 hours). The next day while visiting my brother before the last leg to the resort. Then wore a different pair for skiing every other day. I did not wear them every day like the ad says. Just could not do it. They are super comfortable, and dry. I did wash them every other day, rather than take a chance and catch a rash.

The Ex Officio Men's Briefs are simply the lightest and most comfortable briefs I have ever worn. They can be washed on the road and will dry in hours. They pack easily in any nook and cranny you have in your bag. Simply the best!

Great!

It’s very comfortable, easy-to-wash in the sink and dries very quickly. I wore them while backpacking in very hot and cold weather and I was always comfortable. They wick away sweat and moisture to keep me dry.
