I normally wear an 8 1/2 in shoes. What size should I get?

Flag

I would get the 9 for two reasons. One, you don't want it to be too small. A little big is always better than a little small. And two, assuming you'll be wearing these in cold weather, since that's what their made for, you would probably wear thicker socks as well. The 1/2 size bump to the 9's would accomodate for this.
