Eagle Creek Pack-It Compression Sacs
The Eagle Creek Pack-It Compression Sac saves space and gets the dirty laundry home without contaminating the rest of your bag. This clever bag allows you to remove excess air via a remarkable one-way pressure valve, compressing bulky garments into astonishingly compact forms. The Pack-It Compressor reduces volume up to 80%. Just imagine what you can fit in your suitcase now. A patented zip closure at the top makes it easy to insert and remove garments from the Pack-It Compression Sac.
Bottom Line: The biggest pain about travel is usually packing. Give yourself some extra space with the Eagle Creek Pack-It Compressor.

Medium compression

I got he medium size and so far haven't used it for travel. It is sturdy, durable (at least testing it at home), easy to use, but I've been able to pack everything I need with the Eagle Creek cubes in different sizes, and haven't had to turn to compression yet.
Decent..

The bags are great... just realize that if packing clothes, they will not stay ironed... I'm sure this is common sense, but just wanted to say that.. Also, keep in mind that the weight will suddenly be compressed into one spot.. 10lbs of clothes distributed, suddently becomes a single 10lb weight... either way, still all good..

I traveled for 2 years non-stop hitting a new city each week. I used these for everything and divided my wardrobe up into catagories. They are great. I would not try to travel without them. The only downside is that the little yellow closure tab can come off, but it is easy enough to put back.
They really work!

Traveled way up north & had a lot of heavy, bulky jackets, sweaters, etc. to pack. Never would've gotten them in one suitcase without these. No comparison to the crummy "space bags." These are much better quality. Just be sure to fold items as neatly and as flat as possible before you put them in the bag, otherwise the compressed bags will be very lumpy. The Large size was fine for heavy jackets.
Great sacks

I am an airline employee and I am gone over half of every month. So I get to use these bags a lot. I have the large and medium bags. These bags are of a much thicker and sturdier material than other bags of this type. I have been using these for a year now on every trip. They hold up great. And they allow for taking more things without having to bring an extra bag. Especially in the winter months with bulky sweaters and jacket to pack.
Worth the cost

So i bought a couple of the medium and a couple of the large. They work well for jackets and other bulky items. Worth the cost if you're trying to get a lot in a suitcase.
Not too bad

I have an extra large one and a medium one I just used for a two week trek to Bali and I have to say that they did the job just fine and were definitely durable, but at the same time I didn't find that they worked any better or worse than a 4-pack of Coleman compression sacs (lasted 3 years in rigorous wildland firefighting bags) that I have gotten at a Walmart superstore for the price of a size L of Eagle Creek.
Oh yea!

Wife found one of these bags some time ago and had a tough time finding one until here. Excellent for compression, easy to close and stays dry! Medium size was perfect for a few days of clothes-shirts, socks, shorts, etc.
Well made

I took these on a 4d/3n backpacking trip while in South America and they held up with no problems. I was happy to see they are made of a thick, heavy duty plastic that withstands abuse. They are a bit pricier than some other brands, but in this case you get what you pay for.
