Dansko Mirabelle Sandal - Women's - 2008

The Dansko Women's Mirabelle Sandals look like casual sandals with delicate, crisscross straps and thin ankle and heel straps. Little can you tell these sandals carry seals of acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association, which means the outsoles provide shock absorption, protect the feet, legs, and back during long hours of walking and standing, and have rocker-bottom soles that propel your feet forward as you walk. The Mirabelle Sandals' polypropylene inner frames provide lateral stability and reduce torque. As if that isn't enough, these Dansko Sandals passed SATRA's slip-resistance-against-oily-surfaces test. Ohman, wouldn't you just love to be a fly on the wall for those slip tests?

Bottom Line: A delicate top design disguises supportive features in the Mirabelles.

Okay I've had these shoes for almost a month and I've worn them a lot. I no longer get any blisters, in fact, these are my favorite shoes to wear right now. They are very stylish and VERY comfortable. I absolutely love them and I'm going to order another Dansko sandal in brown, maybe even the same style! Remember, go up a size.

This shoe is very comfortable! I wore it while traveling to Germany and walking a long distance in airports. My feet didn't hurt. I have trouble finding comfortable shoes. My feet seem to be picky. The only thing that wasn't absolutely positive was that I got a blisteron the side of my foot where one of the sandal straps hits. I think once I break them in, it will be great. The main thing is that they are very comfortable on the soles, very stylish, and have a slight heal (which is always good since I'm only 5'3"! Be sure to size up. I'm a size 7.5 to 8 and I had to send the 38 back and get the 39.
