Dansko Professional Cabrio Clog - Men's
When you have meetings all day long, look to the Dansko Men's Professional Clogs. These clogs reduce strain on your legs and feet when you have miles to go before you sleep. The Professional Clogs' leather upper provides a dressy look, and the toe box construction adds durability while giving your toes room to move around. An antimicrobial lining absorbs moisture and blocks foot funk, and the heel design allows your heel to move naturally up and down as you walk to the office. The Professional Clogs' outsole absorbs shock, so you can stay on your feet longer.
Bottom Line: Slip into Dansko's Professional Clogs and charge through your workday.

The Most Comfortable Shoes On The Planet!

Several years ago my girlfriend bought me my first pair of Danskos (the oiled black Professional). It was love at first try on. The amazing comfort was beyond belief - almost like getting the greatest foot massage by the best masseuse ever! Since then I've been so hooked that I went out on my own and bought three new pairs of the Dansko Pro (the oiled brown, black cabrio and, my new fav, the cordovan cabrio). They have become my everyday shoe as they go with just about any pair of casual cotton pants, jeans or shorts.
The one thing to be aware of, however, is that for some unknown reason Dansko recently made a slight change to their Professional line of clogs by making them with less space in the instep so that there might be some tightness in this area for most men's feet. This might necessitate going up one size from what you normally get. If you do that you should be OK. Also, because of having less space in the instep of newer Danskos, unlike the older version which were instantly amazingly comfortable from the moment you first tried them on, it might take up to a week of continual wear and breaking them in to get to that point - more so with the cabrio leathers than with the oiled leathers.
One final thing you should also be ready for is that you will get a lot of (overwhelmingly positive) comments and compliments on your Danskos - particularly from women! Who knew there were chicks out there who dig guys wearing clogs?!
Great for Standing

I accidentally got these shoes a bit too big but they still work. I however am not able to run in them as I am not used to shoes that have a sole bigger than .5 inches so I tend to sprain my ankles combined with the fact they are too big to begin with. I have had them for 3 years and use them 3-4 times a week at work. My job requires us to be standing for very long periods of time and these puppies help us from not getting back problems or sore feet at the end of standing for 8 hours.
What is the difference between the Cabrio and the Dansko Professional

Nothing in construction. They are the same feel, but different look. I have the Cabrios and they are "shinier" leather where the oiled are a "fuzzier" leather. The funny thing is it sounds like it should be the other way, but whatevs. Sidenote, if you have not had Danskos, size up since the fit is more of a Euro fit and you wan the heel to not be touching the back on these.Actually, there is a difference in heel height in the 3 models. The Cabrios have a 2" heel, the oiled finish has a 1 3/4" heel, and the regular "Professional" has a 1 1/2" heel. Some people claim there are quality differences, w/ the oiled and cabrio models being better, but I don't know how true that is.

These clogs are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. This will be my second pair. I first wore them as a restaurant cook. I can be on my feet for 14 hours without leg/back/foot pain. My first pair lasted 2 years, well worth the money. They're like giving your feet a hug.
Why didn't we buy these sooner?

Bought these for my husband who's on his feet lots - and he LOVES them. He never knew feet could feel so good after a full days-worth of standing! He did comment that they weren't the best for walking long distances...but otherwise they're very worth the money.
I want a pair for myself!

The Best Shoe!

I now have a black and brown pair. I live in these shoes because they are so comfortable! The high arch support really soothes my feet when I am on them all day. They are stylish enough for business casual and for everday. Also the way they are rounded at the bottom I can run in them if I had too. Extremely comfortable, the best shoe I have invested in!

Okay these are incredible. I have a wider foot so they do run narrow. I got a size larger and they still fit a bit narrow, but after two days they stretched out enough to be the main shoe I wear now. The extra length is not an issue as it hugs and fits over the top of the foot and not around the toe box at all.
I love the fact that they are so tough. the rocker bottom is a great help for a lot of movement on these guys and If you are not wearing these on your feet all day, what are you doing with yourself?
The high arch support is great, but if you have never worn Chacos, or these, the first week your feet get tired after about 3-4 hours so give it some time. I love that I can return them to this site if I do get the wrong size as these are Euro sizing. The chart helps but I got two pair just in case and got the best fit.
I have worn these over icy roads and walkways this winter, and though the tread is not ideal (actually almost slippery) I was far more balanced on these than any others so I never had any spills. compare that to a few others I had this winter before (the Danskos) that the icy campus I go to had butt marks all over from me.
Now all I wear are Chacos in the summer and Dansko in the winter!
At your size shoe, most likely. These are a Euro fit which actually is very different than to what we are used to. I sized up one whole size, so in Eu sizes 2, and they fit great. The idea is when you put them on you will have a space behind the heel. It usually is about one pinky width. Other than that these are the greatest shoes!

I typically have a problem with finding shoes that support my arches enough. I usually put inserts in the shoes that I wear often. These shoes however, are the pinnacle of comfort. I slipped my foot into this shoe and felt like I had formed it to my own foot. The best part is that it continued to form to my foot each time I wear them. They are actually really cute with a nice pair of trousers and I don't look as much like a nurse as I thought I would. I'm pretty sure that people with flat feet would find these shoes quite painful but if you have an arch, especially a high one, this is a great shoe. The other thing that I really like about these is the comfortable heel support. You'd have a hard time complaining about foot pain after a day on these.
