Dansko Professional Oiled Clog - Women's
Everyone needs a pair of comfortable, durable clogs for work, play, or just plain kicking around the house. The Dansko Women's Professional Oiled Casual Shoe fits the bill. Designed to follow the natural contours of your foot, this shoe accommodates most foot types, and its instep collar cushions your arch so you can walk in comfort. The Heel Counter acts as a natural shoe horn, allowing your heel to move up and down as you walk, without causing blisters. With an ideal amount of shock absorption and flexibility, the outsole propels your foot forward as you walk, making long distances more manageable. The oiled leather material promises durability. Protect your feet, legs, and back when you're on your feet all day with the Dansko Professional Oiled Casual Shoe.
Bottom Line: An all-around winner—the Dansko Professional Oiled Casual Shoe.

Love em

Love the shoes - I work in a level one trauma center in the Emergency Department. 58beds in the ED. I am on my feet for 12 hour shifts, and these are the only shoes I can wear that don't make my feet hurt or my calves ache. The only thing I would do is, if it is your first time, I would try pairs on until you get your perfect size before ordering. Cause each pair is hand stitched.
If the shoe fits, this isthe one to wear!

I ditto the suggestion to try on a few more pairs if the first pair you try on is the right size but not a completely perfect fit, as they can vary some, even the left from the right in the same box. It is worth it to get that perfect fit--the shoes are fantastic if you are on your feet for extended periods (e.g., healthcare shifts).
Can I order these in "narrow" as Dansko makes narrow

These have to be one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Lots of people suggested these but I was reluctant to spend the money....this is the best investment I could have made. I highly recommend these shoes, especially if you are on your feet a lot.

Write your question here...what is difference between the Professional
Write your question here...what is difference between the Professional Pull-up and the DanskoProfessional ?
By: Ana
January 30, 2009
Ana,The construction and fit between the two models is going to be identical. The difference is in the material of the uppers. The Pull-up has a nice full grain leather with a subtle shine. It will look professional and be is easy to maintain. The oiled is exactly that, an oiled leather. All leathers are naturally hydrophobic (water resistant) when you add oil to the leather it just makes it more so. Dankso describes this as more a rugged ready for the out door type shoe. With the oiled shoe scratches, will appear in a lighter color. These can be rubbed out fairly easy though.Bottom line: oiled would best if you wear khakis or jeans, let's call this the weekend or business casual clog. The Professional Pull-up would be ideal for a skirt or a slack. Please visit http://www.dansko.com/#detail,Professional,Stapled%20Clog,2 for more details and comparisons.Mahalo, Sumo

comfortable and functional.

these are pretty much my "go-to" shoes in the fall and winter. i don't wear them as much in the spring/summer because they're just not as functional (i switch to the flip-flops), but otherwise, they're great. i wear 8.5-9 in street shoes, and i wear a 39 in this shoe with thin socks and a 40 with a thick sock. i think it depends on personal fit preference. they are super comfortable. my only fit complaint is that i sometimes turn my ankle in these because they are a little bit wide for me.

These are the most comfortable shoes, and just about the only shoe I wear all winter (except for my Solomon Snow Clogs). These are a staple in my closet.

I love my new danskos! At first it was a bit funny waking in them but I got used to that quickly (the shoe is supposed to fit loosely in the back). These are very comfy and look nice too. Its the first time I splurge on shoes... needed them because my job requires me to be on my feet a lot. I wear them all the time now.
do they make these that run narrow? I have 10 AAA

I have a pair of oiled brown Dansko clogs purchased 2+ yrs ago. They are 9narrow. Yes, this particular style does come in narrow, but not many stores carry it.

Best hospital shoes, and hot!

February 21, 2007
These clogs are the royal treatment for the feet when standing in the hospital for 12-15 hour shift. My feet love me again. They take a little while to break them in and I would not recommend wearing them for long periods of time before they are broken in. But when they are they are like foot massages from Greek gods with funny Scandinavian halos and silly tussled hair.
Plus they make your ankles, calves, and whole long legs look hot.
Get the red ones!

So I have about 6 pairs of Dansko clogs and the red ones are now my very, very favorite. They are just a little more fun than the other colors.
I live in a ski town and the Dansko Professional is the standard footwear for most people who work in the ski industry.
Dansko Clogs

I used to work in restaurants, on my feet for hours at a time. Dansko clogs were my go-to shoe and kept me feeling great throughout my shift and beyond. They have serious arch support and will last for years. I've trudged through many a ski season in these and they still have the stellar support, tread wear is minimal and the leather remains looking nice. I actually think they get better with age! Go for it: if you don't like them, Backcountry.com has the industry's best return policy, too.
Comfy Clogs

These clogs are very comfortable once you get used to them, They have a lot of arch support which can take some getting used to but it is soft and comfortable. I recommend wearing light weight socks. If you plan to wear heavier socks I would say to go up at least a half size or the shoes will be too tight.

These clogs are super comfy. I have a high instep, high arch and a wide foot and they give me great arch support. Love these shoes!
