Dragon DX Goggles w/ Ionized Lens

When the day goes from flat light to bluebird in minutes, no worries: you have the ionized lens-equipped Dragon’s DX Goggles. The ionized lens’s high-contrast tint highlights every little snow feature, so you always know what's ahead. Dragon tricked out these goggles with a large fit so they work well with a helmet, dual-layer face foam and a micro-fleece lining for comfort, and an anti-fog treatment for all-day clarity.

Bottom Line: I can see! I can see!

good goggle

good goggle, lenses will scratch fairly easily. Great helmet integration and the second lenses rock on powder/low light days

Sick

Got Jet/Ionized and they are as advertised. Comfortable fleece lining, killer looks and good quality. The lens is easy to pop in and out so you can switch lenses on the go. The mirroring does make it impossible to see your eyes. They fit well with my Baker helmet. A great buy.

if you really have a big head then these wont fit very well, they really are on the small side of goggles dispite what the tech specks say, they do have a decent field of vision but the part that actually goes on ur face is pretty small, i wear a 7 hat size and these feel a bit small even on me...i suggest sizing up to some von zipper feenoms (my personal favorite, go check out my review), smith prodigys, oakley wisdoms, dragon mace's, or the king of all huge goggles: electric eg2's

Comfy fleece lining. Good ventilation. Cool graphic design. Fairly large fit. Lens seems durable, and I haven't scratched the inside yet wiping it out. Highly recommended

Great

Good for ripping down the mountain in any conditions, sunny, snowy, whatever mother nature can throw at you. With the ionized lens it is hard to see at night though.

Does anyone know how these fit with the Giro G10 helmet?

They fit any helmet well. They have a pretty standard shape on the top. The Giro G10 and this goggle are very similar in their shape so they'll fit together well.

i've had these for two years with the g10 and the integration is awesome! great goggle for the price especially on whiskey militia or sac. the lenses scratch easy but as long as you can get a year out of them its worth the price

Shweet gogs

I bought the dragon dx goggles cuz I think they have a sick shape and I easily give them 5 stars for looks. As for performance: they of course do a great job of keepin the snowfall out of my eyes and they have never once fogged up on me so I really have nothing to complain about. They are simple goggles that just get the job done.

What's the difference between the regular ionized and jet

What's the difference between the regular ionized and jet ionized?

the difference is that an ionized lens is an amber lens with reflective coating, and the jet ionized lens is a black lens with reflective coating (ionized=reflective)...so the jet ionized is darker

Not Bad

By:
December 22, 2008

These are great if your on a bit of a budget or are only going to do 30 days this season. Work well with or without helmet and are very comfortable. Difference between thses and a pair of more expensive google is Lense size, DX's leanse is not huge bigish but not huge. Also they tend to fog up if your wearing a mask or if there on your head while hiking.

Overall good google for the intermediate skier out there.

Nice goggles

By:

I bought the white w/ pin stripes and they look great. The lens is silver but looks yellow when in direct light, great for low-medium sun light conditions. Came with a pair of ambers for the low vis days. They fit pretty well, I have a large head, I wish the peripheral vision was a little more. Only time they fog up is when they were on my head or I'm not moving, had some issues on a really cold day in which the condensation sorta froze up on me.

On a side note, they pair nicely with my white Giro MX10 helm.

The Blue Ionized would probably work best for low light conditions.

Ehh...pretty good

As they say, you only get what you paid for. And the same is true of the Dragon DX goggle. Now don't get me wrong, the DX's are a NICE goggle, but they're definitely NOT a SICK goggle. I really liked the fact that they have a wide lens area - perfect for my bigger face - and also the color ways, I got the tye die vice and their pretty killer to look at. My main problems with the DX's are their durability, the actual goggle material seems pretty flimsy and un-sturdy, they fog up a little too easily for my liking, and they just aren't that comfortable. Also, the lenses are a pain to switch out...but whatev...I feel like I'm just nagging their product. I mean, if you're looking for an inexpensive goggle, the DX's are not a bad choice, but if you want something with super high quality, definitely look elsewhere.
