DMM Revolver Locking Carabiners

The DMM Revolver Locking Carabiner is the long-awaited locking versions of DMM's popular Revolver Wiregate, and one of the only ‘biners on the market to be certified both as a carabiner and a pulley. A friction-reducing pulley at one end of the carabiner allows the rope to run smoothly when hauling gear or your injured partner. The Revolver Locking Carabiner excels at hauling and rescue systems where light weight is crucial.

A great tool

I've been using the non-locking Revolver since last fall. I had been waiting all spring for the lockable version. I use it for most of my anchor/toprope setups it works well. It reduces rope drag and seems to be much better for my rope. Rather than putting groves in my biners, this allows the rope to slip through with very little friction. Great product. I've also talked with folks that use it in a pulley system. I can't comment on that from my own perspective, but they said that they love it.
