Well the Dalbello boots are extremely customizable in their fit, so these should be able to accommodate a large calf. Salomon boots tend to have a larger cuff opening, which would help for that too.

Great skiing boot with lots of adjustments to play with to customize the fit and performance. It's a little hard to tell which liner you are getting when you order, but the company was great to work with to correct the mistake. The LS liner isn't quite as low volume as I need, but the boots seem to ski well regardless, and I'm sure the ID heat-fit liner will fill the extra space.

These boots are truly amazing. After using/demo'ing just about every brand out there - this buckle system is truly the only way to get an accurate heel fit. The boots alone improved my skiing ability instantly.

Hi, I am buying my first pair of ski boots and need a lot of help. I have a few issues - wide feet (E), high bridge or high volume and muscular calves. I consider myself still beginner - I stay on the green and easy blue slopes. Any suggestions?

go to bootfitters.com for genreal info. Some brands of boots have ankle buckles that can be moved out like a belt. Sounds like you like skiing enough to commit. Ask local ski patrol or ski instructors where's the best local ski shop for getting custom(ized) boots. Your going to spend $ and hours wearing so take your time maybe buy an intermediate boot if you plan to progress.
