Is it really small enough to be able to carry it on the plane and fit under the seat or in the overhead bin?

I went with the 2500cu in size instead of the 3000 cu in and am quite glad. I have plenty of room for everything that I need for a short trip. Also it is a great carry on and for long trips I'm able to squeeze in plenty of extra cloths etc. The two pockets on the front make easy access to your ipod, books etc. It is a super durable bag and easy to wheel around behind you while traveling. I would highly recommend this.

Why do some of these have a normal handle and others have a wierd T-shaped handle? And, does it matter, or are they both equally comfortable and easy to use?
